FlxTime™ ESP Mining Setup Guide

1. Prerequisites

To set up your ESP device with FlxTime™, you will need:

  • An ESP device (ESP32-S3, ESP32, or ESP8266).
  • A USB data cable to connect the device to your computer.
  • A compatible browser (Chrome or Edge recommended).
  • Download The FlxTime™ firmware file:
    • For ESP8266-NodeMCU: here
    • For ESP32S3: here
    • For ESP32: here
  • Your WiFi credentials (SSID and password).
  • Your Solana wallet address for FlxTime™ reward payments.

2. Installing the Firmware

  1. Open Esptool
  2. Connect your ESP device to your computer using the USB data cable.
    • NB: if the board has multiple USB connections, try the COM port first.
  3. Select a 115200 baudrate and click Connect.
  4. In the pop-up window, choose the serial port for your ESP device.
  5. Click Erase Flash and wait for the process to complete.
  6. Click Choose File and select the FlxTime™ *.bin file.
  7. Set the flash address to 0x0000.
  8. Click Program to begin flashing the firmware.
  9. Once finished, press the RST (reset) button on the ESP device to reboot it.

3. Setting Up WiFi (2.4GHz Only)

  1. Connect to the WiFi network FLXTime-AP (password: admin123).
  2. A setup window should appear automatically. If not, go to 192.168.4.1 in your browser.
  3. Enter your WiFi network name (SSID) and password.
  4. Click Save to store your WiFi settings.

4. Configuring Your Wallet

  1. Open the IP address assigned to your miner (ESP32) by your router.
  • Check your router’s interface to find the device’s IP address.
  1. Enter your Solana wallet address.
  2. Click Save to confirm.

5. Accessing the Miner Dashboard

  1. Visit Flxtime Console
  2. Connect your Solana wallet, and you need to do this to check if your miner is submitting proofs.
  3. Verify that the status shows “Status: ON” to confirm your miner is operational.
